Club Captain

How frequently have I, with great difficulty, persuaded patients who were never off my doorstep to take up golf and how rarely, if ever, have I seen them in my consulting rooms again!” Dr. Alister Mackenzie

A message from our Club Captain, Ian Frampton

As Club Captain for 2019, I would like to welcome you to Willingdon Golf Club.

I intend to continue with the traditions of the club and support our various sections. New members, societies and green fees are always welcome and we are sure you will appreciate our wonderful course.

The additions to our club in 2018 were a new Pro Shop and a teaching studio, managed by our experienced PGA professional, Dan. Also created was a second balcony above the new Pro Shop, this overlooks the course and is a great place to sit and relax with a glass of whatever you fancy.

Our downland course is in excellent condition, maintained expertly by our course manager, Luke, and his team. The in-house catering, provided by Rachel and Steve, is highly recommended by club members and visitors alike, and the bar area is a great place to unwind and talk about the bad luck you had on the course!

We pride ourselves on being an extremely friendly club, so why not come and give us a try – we think you’ll like what you find.

Great golfing to you all.
