How frequently have I, with great difficulty, persuaded patients who were never off my doorstep to take up golf and how rarely, if ever, have I seen them in my consulting rooms again!” Dr. Alister MacKenzie

A message from our Club Captain, Reg Cork
I am so proud and honoured to have been elected Captain of Willingdon Golf Club for 2018. I see the role of Captain to promote and support the club and maintain its fine traditions.
As Captain, this gives me the opportunity to invite golfers to come to Willingdon. There is a big welcome for societies and for green fee payers. You will find the course in immaculate condition, nurtured by our Course Manager, Luke. The food served by Steve and Rachel, our caterers, is home cooked and of the highest quality. And you will be able to relax in our lounge with a drink of your choice served by Dave, our Bar Manager, and his ever cheerful staff.
I look forward to welcoming you. You will want to come back again and even become a member of this great club.
Finally, I wish you all the very best and excellent golf in 2018.

Whether a golfer or not, a very warm welcome awaits you at the friendliest golf club in the South of England. From the elevated Clubhouse bar and terrace, both non-golfers and golfers alike will appreciate the magnificent view of our stunning downland course, which was re-designed nearly 100 years ago by the legendary architect of Augusta Golf Club , Dr Alister MacKenzie. The course rests in a bowl at the foot of the South Downs, so not only is it protected from the harshest of weathers but also tends to be open all year round due to its amazing drainage.
Golfers wishing to join can choose from a wide range of very attractive flexible membership options or, if only able to play occasionally, take advantage of our special offers which can be found on this website. Please select Membership from the Menu for more details.
For those wanting to learn our great game or interested in honing their golfing skills, our professional, Dan Gale, has a well deserved reputation for coaching new and experienced golfers of all abilities. Dan has a range of lesson packages to suit all pockets and he also runs group clinics during the year for juniors, ladies and seniors. Please select Professional from the Menu for more details.
As well as the stunning upstairs bar with great views across the course, the club boasts a ground floor restaurant that is a wonderful venue for all types of function, including wedding receptions, parties, conferences and meetings. Please select Clubhouse from the Menu for more details.
